Wazdan Celebrates Its Achievements at the Recent CasinoBeats Summit 2023

Several days after sponsoring and participating in the SBC Summit in New Jersey, Wazdan headed to Malta to attend another conference — CasinoBeats Summit. This was the fifth edition of the famous event, which took place between 23 May and 25 May at the InterContinental Hotel, Valletta.

This year’s expo gathered over 3,000 industry leaders, experts, tech-savvy masterminds, and, most importantly, providers who were able to showcase their latest games and innovative mechanics. However, the three-day event was also an excellent chance to mingle with the industry's most prominent names while participating in interactive workshops. Aside from being one of the delegates, Wazdan and its marketing and account management teams sponsored the CasinoBeats boat trip on the first day of the summit, where all attendees could relax, socialise, and enjoy themselves.

The cherry on top was the last day’s CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards event, where Wazdan was shortlisted in four distinguished categories — Slot of the Year 2023, Game Mechanic of the Year 2023, Game Innovation Spotlight Award, and Game Feature of the Year 2023. The developer ended the event on a high note by winning the Game Feature of the Year 2023 award for its innovative Mystery Drop™ promotional tool. Mystery Drop™ gives all of Wazdan’s partners and clients the freedom to create customised promotions to reward their players. It comprises the developer’s entire 150-game portfolio. Another great thing about it is that prizes are automatically credited to users’ accounts, which increases player engagement and retention. Wazdan introduced the tradition of releasing a Mystery Drop network promotion a few years ago and continued hosting it during each festive season. This year’s promotion, Wazdan Break the Rules Network Promotion, will take place from May 15 to August 15th and feature a mind-blowing $1,000,000 prize pool. Wazdan’s head of account management for Europe, Magdalena Wojdyla, explained that it had become an annual tradition for the company to attend the CasinoBeats Summit, and this year was no exception. Their goal was to network and learn from other industry professionals in order to act proactively. Wojdyla also thanked CasinoBeats for organising another fantastic event and expressed her desire to return the following year to continue this three-day-long adventure. Furthermore, she praised the judges for recognising their promotional tool's potential and benefits despite the fierce competition. Finally, she concluded that this award would inspire the team to be more creative when developing new games and features in the future.
