Pragmatic Play Strikes a Deal With bet365 in Ontario

Pragmatic Play, one of the leading iGaming content suppliers, has surprised us with another collaboration. This time, the developer took a break from its South American expansion and headed north to Canada to ink a deal with a well-established operator in Ontario — bet365.
Last year, Pragmatic Play debuted in the Canadian province when the company sealed a deal with NorthStar Gaming. Thanks to this collaboration, the local audience can enjoy the company’s entire slot vertical featuring award-winning classics such as Gates of Olympus™ and Sugar Rush™. The latter won the Online Slot of the Year award at the 2023 Global Gaming Awards in London. However, the new deal brings another vertical to the table — live dealer casino games. Under this agreement, Ontario players will be able to discover Pragmatic Play’s live casino games for the first time and explore its staple titles, such as Sweet Bonanza CandyLand™ and the recently released PowerUP Roulette.
bet365 is a British online gambling company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. It offers sports betting and casino type games to players worldwide. The operator entered the Canadian market in 2022 when the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario gave it the green light to conduct sports betting activities in the province. There is no doubt this will be a beneficial partnership for both parties. bet365 will expand and enrich its game offer, while Pragmatic Play will find new players and create new opportunities for further expansion. Irina Cornides, Pragmatic Play's chief operating officer, was delighted about the partnership with bet365 in Ontario and explained that this was a milestone for the company as it would help them increase their presence in regulated markets worldwide. She added that Pragmatic Play could not wait to introduce some of the best games to Canadian players at bet365. The company has already launched its best-in-class slot portfolio in Ontario; thus, it can now offer premium live content to even more residents thanks to this deal. According to a spokesperson for bet365, the company was thrilled about expanding its partnership with Pragmatic Play in Ontario. They stated the developer’s games would be a perfect fit for bet365's existing offer, and there was no doubt their award-winning slots and live games would make Ontario customers happy.
