Play’n GO Adds Connecticut License to Its Portfolio

Play’n GO, an industry-leading provider of online casino content, is expanding its footprint in North America by securing the Connecticut license. The developer entered said market in July 2022, when it obtained the Provisional Internet Gaming Supplier (B2B) permit for the US state of Michigan.
Initially, Play’n GO made a strategic decision to enter Michigan, due to its significant market size, compared to New Jersey and Connecticut. Since only a few US states allow online gambling and sports betting, the studio had plans to conquer all of them, and soon after that, it scored permits from New Jersey and West Virginia. Naturally, Connecticut would follow quickly after. In a recent interview, Magnus Olsson, CEO of Play'n GO, stated that gaining more market access to US iGaming states has been among the company's biggest priorities, and Connecticut was a fantastic addition to its US expansion efforts.
Olsson continued, explaining that US online gaming operators mainly focused on retention strategies to reduce acquisition costs, particularly in expensive media markets like New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Therefore, Connecticut players and operators will be thrilled to enjoy Play'n GO games, the best retention content in the industry. Additionally, he pointed out they aimed to be the best in all regulated markets globally. Olsson concluded that aside from being present in more than 25 jurisdictions, Connecticut was the latest regulated market they entered, and they were looking forward to starting up. Play'n GO's North American iGaming market expansion has undoubtedly gained momentum. The studio was one of the first online casino suppliers to be granted an Ontario license and allowed to provide slot games in this Canadian province. Furthermore, its ultra-popular release, Book of Dead, and ten other games were topping the North American charts soon after becoming available in the US. There is no doubt players will also enjoy some of Play’n GO’s rock n’ roll nostalgia slot releases featuring famous bands, like Def Leppard, Testament, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, and KISS. And since the developer plans to launch 50 new games in 2023, Connecticut players will surely be entertained for a long time.
